We’ve all had them… those moments when all is right with the world and you see / smell / taste / feel something that you swear you will remember forever.

Time has a way of fading even those memorable moments, so here’s to remembering that life is good.

September 13, 2011

I know the exact date of this Life is Good moment…  the date that we closed on our home in Springdale.  It was a perfect September day, and afterwards, we just laid in the middle of our totally empty house, gazing up at the enormously tall ceiling.  It marked the beginning of our new adventure, and the realization that we really could leave the corporate lifestyle that had engulfed me for years.

There was still much to be done before we would be ready to physically relocate to our new home.  But for that moment, everything was perfect and I felt I could lay there forever.
